NOTE: Use caution when curing gel liquids in your lamp. Applying gel too thick can cause heat spikes, thereby causing a burning sensation on your nails. Also, wipe away any gel from your skin before curing in a lamp to avoid burning your skin.

ALL LIQUIDS WILL BE SHIPPED GROUND DUE TO POSTAL REGULATIONS.

We carry the following Gel Liquids:

Regular Gels - Soak off Base Gel, No Wipe Top Coat, No Wipe Matte Top Coat and Ultra Shine No Wipe Top Coat.

Hema Free Gels - Soak off Base Gel, Soak off Rubber Base Gel, No Wipe Top Coat, No Wipe Matte Top Coat, Ultra Shine No Wipe Top Coat and Milky Top Coat.

Yes, you CAN use gel liquids as an alternative way to "dip" your nails using dip powder!  Following these simple instructions, and using a curing lamp, your nails can be "double dipp'd" without the fear of a reaction some experience with the traditional dip liquid system.

We now have Hema Free Rubber Base Gel!  This is an excellent way to strengthen your nails without using Builder Gel.  This formula is more flexible and bends with the nail to prevent cracking upon impact.  This may not be for everyone.  The process to apply is similar to Builder Gel.  You will definitely need a Gel Base first before applying the Rubber Base, which needs to cure.  You will then add your Rubber Base in layers until you achieve the desired look.  Each layer must also be cured in your LED/UV lamp.  A Gel Top Coat must then be applied to your nails. (Follow instructions for curing on your bottles).

However, please note that using Gel Liquids vs. Dip Liquids may alter the colors in your Dip Powders.  All colors are swatched using Dip Liquids. Additionally, heavily pigmented or extremely dark colors may not cure properly. This is due to the UV/LED rays not being able to penetrate through the color. If you are unsure which colors those may be, contact us.

Gel liquids need to be kept in a cool, dark place. Exposure to light will harden the gel.

Exposure to extreme temperatures may affect the quality of gel polish/liquids and can cause gel liquids to seize up at the mouth of the bottle.  All bottles are checked before shipping.  If you receive a bottle that appears this way, you can use a sharp object to carefully pull the hardened gel out of the mouth, making the rest of the bottle usable.

Instructions for dipping using the Double Dipp'd Gel Liquids:

1.  Prep and cleanse your nails and push back cuticles

2.  Using thin strokes, apply your Gel Base

3.  Pour the powder over your nail or lay finger onto the powder

4.  Clean around cuticles and then cure

5.  Brush off excess powder and repeat until desired coverage

6.  You can now buff or file to shape

7.  Apply a thin coat of the No Wipe Top Coat (glossy or matte) and cure

8.  Apply another thin coat of Top coat (glossy or matte depending on the look you seek to achieve), cap the edge and cure. IF YOU ARE USING THE ULTRA SHINE TOP COAT, YOU ONLY NEED ONE COAT.

Using Double Dipp'd Gel liquids for finishing powders ("chroming")

1.  Apply a thin coat of Gel Base Coat and cure.

2. Apply a thin coat of Gel Top.

3. Flash cure (approx. 10-15 seconds) Time depends on your lamp and requires trial and error

4.  Apply your powder with an applicator or finger and rub in until you have achieved the desired coverage

5.  Brush off any excess powder, then cure

6.  Apply No Wipe Top Coat (cap the edge) and cure (you can do 2 coats if you like, but only cap the edge of the final coat.

*NOTE: You MUST use a Gel Base before Gel Top as the Top needs a sticky base to adhere correctly to your nails. Not using a Gel Base before Gel Top will cause your Top coat to peel.

Removal Instructions:

For the fastest removal, you will need the following:

  • Bowl large enough for your hand
  • 100% Acetone
  • Ziplock type baggie quart or gallon size
  • Paper Towel
  • Hot water
  • Nail File
  • Coconut oil is recommended but not necessary
  1. With your nail file, file off the top coat of your gel to break the seal and allow the acetone to soak off your mani.
  2. Heat 1-2 cups of water in your bowl to a temperature that your hand will tolerate.
  3. Add the paper towel to your baggie and pour in approx. 1/4 cup of the Acetone.  (If you have coconut oil, you can add about 5 drops to the baggie to help moisten your hand once it is soaked in the acetone).
  4. Put your hand in the baggie and put the baggie into the bowl of hot water.
  5. Seal the baggie around your hand and rub each of your nails on the acetone soaked paper towel until the gel comes off. (This process should take no more than 5-10 minutes per hand).
